Question
Which is better, twilight or harry potter?
Answer
Okay. Im just going to make the ultimate comparison right now.brHarry vs. EdwardbrHarry cares so much about his friends and family. He would rather die than see one of his friends be tortured. He devotes his entire life to destroying Voldemort...... Edward, on the other hand, only cares abut Bella... NO ONE ELSE! And he doesnt even treat Bella all that kindly. He talked her into marrying him. He trashed her car so she couldnt see Jacob. He tried to convince another man to have sex with Bella. He never lets her have any say in their relationship. He stalks her. And he sparkles. Harry would never do any of those things to Cho or Ginny.brbrRon vs. JacobbrJacob is an okay character... Ron is an awesome character. Jacob, in my opinion, is a jerk, though, personality or not. He treats Bellas quotfriendsquot like crapi.e. Mike at the movies in New Moon. He sexually harassed Bella. He imprinted on a babycan you say pedophile? Yes Twilighters, imprinting IS sexual!. Ron, on the other hand would never have sexual feelings for a baby. He would never treat Hermiones friends like crap. He would also never force Hermione to kiss him!brbrHermione vs. BellabrOkay, now Im getting excited! Bella is always dependent on a man. Before Edward came into her life, Bella HATED Forks... I repeat HATED. But then Edward walked into the picture and her life just became a great big ray of sunshine! Then Edward walked out on Bella and Bella was lifeless for FIVE MONTHS! But then Jacoba male came into her life and everything gets all better. Then Bella didnt get to see Jacob for a week becasue Jacob had wolf problems to deal with.... Bella fell apart again. There is no getting around it, Bella is dependent on men.brbrHermione on the other hand is NEVER dependent on a man. She is the smartest witch of her age. There isnt a spell she cant do. She had a crush on Ron all through school but never once fell apart or became lifeless. Yea, she was heartbroken in HBP when Ron and Lavender started dating, but that was only a week compared to FIVE FRICKING MONTHS! And then, of course, she was heart broken in DH when Ron walked out on her and Harry, but who wouldnt be? Harry was heartbroken too. And I dont even think that it was purly Ron that made Hermione so depressed. I think it was life in general for her. She missed her family, she was in the middle of no where with the entire Ministry of Magic chasing after her, she was hunting the some of the most evil dark magic objects, one of the Horcruxs was in their tent but they had no means of destroying it, she was hungry, and on top of all that, the love of her life just walked out on her best friend. But you know what? Even then, Hermione stayed loyal to Harry. Is that something Bella would ever have done if were honest with our selves? No, it isnt. Not to mention Hermione should have been taking her OWLs in first year.brbrBella vs. GinnybrAs I already mentioned, Bella needs a man in her life. Ginny doesnt. Sure Ginny went through three boyfriends in two, almost three years, but she was never dependent on any of them. She saw that the Ravenclaw boy was a jerk that couldnt stand to lose, so she broke up with him. Easy as that. Dean got on her nerves a lot so she broke up with him. Ginny knows the difference between a good boy friend and a bad one. Bella doesnt. Edward is a jerk. A stalker. A creep. A murderer that wants to eat her. Hes abusive. Controlling. But does Bella brake up with him? Absolutly not. Because Bella needs a man. Ginny is independent.brbrGinny loves sports. She could even be considered a tom boy. Bella hates sports. She cooks and cleans for Charlie. Shes a girly girl that doesnt want to get her feet dirty. Bella cant fight. Bella cant do anything. Ginny can perform the greatest hexes and jinxes that any of us has ever seen. Ginny has personality, depth, character, hobbies, she is D. Bella is D. Ginny didnt fall apart when Harry left her. We all know what happened to Bella when Edward left her.brbrOkay, well, there is the ultimate comparison.
