GoingbrIts about this realy fat kid who tries to commit suicide but gets stopped by this dropout junkie. Its really funny and has a good lesson about accepting yourself and stuff. Its based a bit on Kurt Cobains lifestory.brbrHouse of the Scorpion by Nancy FarmerbrIts a bit of an easy read but so worth it. Its about this child clone of this drug lord. If youre going to read any of the book Ive listed, please read this one. Its seriously amazing. I love it and I think you will like it. Its won four ? awards and if that doesnt say anything then I dont know what else.brbrCrow Lake by Mary LawsonbrIts a bit like To Kill A Mockingbird in the sense that it takes place in a small town and it narrated by a young girl and involves a community catasrophe. A very nice book.brbrFlowers in the Attic by V.C. AndrewsbrIts not a very well written book the language is very simple, and could use some work, but the plot is very interesting. Basically these four kids are forced to live in an attic, and warped things happen. Its a bit of a drama put into pages, and somewhat entertaining. Full of family secrets.brbrI am the Messenger by Mark ZusakbrThis underaged taxi driver starts getting these cards sent to him one day from an unknown person after a bank robbery and the cards have messages on them for him to go and help all these people. brbrI can go on and on. There are so many worthwhile reads out there, but describing them all will take me forever, so Ill just list a few more for you to check outbrbrTarget about a guy who gets raped, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Giver a seriously good book. If you are going to be difficult and not read House of the Scorpion then read this one., Maniac Magee, Wringer my favourite by Jerry Spinelli, who is a really good author, Noughts and Crosses, The Handmaids Tale, Lord of the Flies, The Chrysalids, Spud, Holes, Silent to the Bone, Martyn Pig, Junk, Island of the Aunts a childrens novel, but its such a magical story. It was one of my favourites and you say you like Alice in Wonderland, Pool Boy, Its Kind Of A Funny Story, Teen Angst? Naaah..., Be More Chill last three are all by the same author very funny books.brbrThere you go. That seems like a sufficient amount.
